Dorel HERINEAN is a criminal defence attorney from Bucharest, Romania, operating his own private practice (Herinean Dorel – Criminal Defence).

Currently, he is a PhD Candidate and a collaborator-teaching assistant for Criminal Law at the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Law. His area of practice and interest consists exclusively of criminal law and international cooperation in criminal matters. He published broad studies within numerous and prestigious law journals from Romania. Dorel received the Law Review distinction for his publications two years in a row (2020 & 2021) and is the co-author of a book about the European Public Prosecutor’s Office, published in 2021.
